Project L.I.F.E. Foundation (Because Every Life Counts...)

Muk Kayteia

Thitipan Klaytea, or "Muk" as his friends call him, was born in Bangkok. All of his family are Christians. Muk works as "Follow-up staff" in Bangkok for the Child Sponsorship Program.

I became born again and baptized about 20 years ago. I began to know God through leaflets and the scholarship staff of World Vision through whom I was receiving a scholarship in my primary school years. When I became a Christian, I wanted to serve and work for God. So when I was 18, I went to Bible Seminary. I had to pray hard in order to finance the fees and other expenses. All the time that I was a student, I learned a lot about God’s grace and that He would always take care of me, including paying all my fees and bills. I am so sure and confident that He would never forsake or leave me.

After that I came to work for Project L.I.F.E. Foundation and the Child Sponsorship Program. At first I was not confident that I could do the work, I was very nervous, because I had never done this kind of work before nor did I have any understanding of children. The only thing I had done with children before was some activities during Sunday school classes at church. Now my main job is to follow-up children and visit them at home or school in order to build relationships with them, the teachers and their guardians. Thank God that from the first day, I have had many experiences in this work and in my own life, that have allowed me to understand the children and the problems of our society better. I am glad that we can help with the scholarship program. I am proud that I am a part of this program and we are helping to improve children’s lives and futures.
