August 2008 Update

WOW!!! There is so much news that I hardly know where to begin. It has been such a busy time with our new building and the Discipleship Training Class and outreaches! “All” of the students that entered the training class have completed the course! They all know Jesus as their Lord and Savior and have asked Him to be Lord of thief life! All of them have been baptized!

Pray for each of these women as they are making decisions about what God desires of them in the future and for their families. Their hearts are tender to God and His promise for hope and a future. Oh yes, the building fund project!! Once again God proves that He is our source, He is our provider and that He has riches untold!! We have been so blessed, by so many, from all over the world. We have shared from our heart about our building and what is needed in the way of finances. People have listened, prayed and have given, out of their love and obedience to the Father that which he has asked of them to give.

The outreaches to the villages of the women continue to be a wonderful source of joy and blessings to all who take part in going as well as to the village people. God’s name is being lifted up and His love, grace and mercy are being displayed through His healing power of body, soul and spirit!! The physical healings are such evidence of how powerful God is and of His love for these people. The father of one of our girls is the man that for years has been responsible for the “calling in of the spirits”. We have been praying for him to see the truth through the life of his daughter and those that go to the village to share. This father shared with us during the last visit that “God” gave him a dream!! He said that God spoke to him and told him he must now choose one of three cords that were hanging down. One cord was the “Cord of Ancestors”, one was “Cord of Merit” and the other the “Cord of Light”. God showed him what these cords represented and he told God that he wanted the “Cord of Light”. This father has now committed his life to Christ and the only spirit he calls forth is the Holy Spirit.

One girl came out of the bars, one life was changed through the Tamar Center. She choose Christ and now, from that one life, flows hope and promise to her family and to the people of her village, her province and all of Thailand. Flowing out like a mighty river, taking truth and living water to many so as to build the Kingdom of God.

Once again it is that time of year that we are preparing for the annual “Pattaya Praise”. This is the first time that we will not have the praise and worship groups from around the world coming to lead the way!!

We are so very excited as we see the Thai people take over this event and look to pour out into ‘their’ cities and the people of ‘their’ country. What a thrill it is to see the work of the past bearing such beautiful and wonderful fruit in the Thai people!! Praise the Lord for all He is doing in this nation. As we continue to work out the plans for this event, please PRAY that the plans of the enemy to prevent our success for this even will be defeated!! Please pray for financial blessings to pour forth to cover all of the expenses. Pray that this will be the best Pattaya Praise ever and that more fruit will be seen then ever before for the Kingdom of God!!

Prayer Points
That all of the pledged monies come in allowing the purchase of our building to take place on time or earlier then the contract requires and without any stumbling blocks. For the outreach teams to the villages. For souls to be won into the Kingdom. Pray for new women to come to Tamar to study English, make a decision to leave the bars and join us at
the Center.
