PALM CENTER WELLNESS AND COUNSELING
Initially, the Palm Center provided counseling to the women at Tamar Center, their children, and some individual clients. But in 2024, Godgave Nella Davidse a vision for an expanded organization to provide additional services to serve Pattaya and surrounding areas.
In 2025, the Palm Center Wellness and Counseling Center was established to provide Christian counseling and address wellness needs for all individuals, families, church members, and the broader community. These services include an expanded counseling program and alternative wellness programs, such as a healing room, worship, outreach to individuals in their homes and workplace. It also includes a place for likeminded ministries providing healing to individuals through workplace, addition treatment, and alternative programs. This document is a planfor this organization.
Vision and Mission Statement
Vision Statement: The Palm Center is dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing space in the heart of Pattaya, where communities can come together in God’s presence to experience spiritual, emotional, and physical healing.
Mission Statement: We empower individuals to overcome challenges and reach their fullest potential through transformative prayer meetings, personalized and group counseling, coaching, and youth programs. Our outreach initiatives, support groups, and training programs equip local leaders, churches, and NGOs to effectively serve and uplift those affected by trauma and hardship, fostering resilience and community healing.
Programs and Services
Prayer Meetings: Gatherings for pastors, leaders, and community members to come together in the presence of God, fostering unity and spiritual growth.
Healing Room: Dedicated times for soaking in God’s presence with prayer focused on emotional, physical, and spiritual healing.
Individual Counseling: Personalized counseling addressing trauma, relational challenges, conflict resolution, addiction, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns.
Group Programs: Empowering group sessions that build communication skills, provide support, and encourage personal development.
Coaching Services: Programs designed to empower individuals to identify and achieve their personal and professional goals.
4Counseling Training: Comprehensive training for individuals working with trauma-affected people in local churches and NGOs, equipping them with essential skills.
Supervision and Debriefing: Ongoing supervision and debriefing services for those supporting traumatized individuals, ensuring their well-being and effectiveness.
Youth and Children Programs: Engaging activities that help young people develop life skills and build healthy relationships.
Outreach Programs: Initiatives to reach the wider community, including visiting women working in bars and on the streets, offering hope and support.
Coffee Shop and Open House: A welcoming space for those in need of a listening ear or a safe and supportive environment.
PROJECT L.I.F.E. FOUNDATION
Since 1987, Project L.I.F.E. Foundation has been involved in helping the poor and vulnerable of Thailand, particularly women and children. Project L.I.F.E. is a registered Thai Foundation, under the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security of the Royal Thai Government. Palm Center is a project under the legal cover of Project L.I.F.E. Foundation.
